Jewellery Stream Promo

I've made this promo for a Daz+ stream, in which John (aka Fugaza aka 3D Megaverse) shows us how to make jewellery with Marvelous Designer. I thought it was a splendid idea for a stream topic, but we didn't anything I could show for the occasion in the Daz newsletter or the YouTube thumbnail. I used a set by Matty Manx called Jeweled Excellence, some creative placement and lighting and came up with this.

Technically this is considered a packshot I guess, but with small items there's always more to consider than with people. For one, the placement has to be more accurate as the items are shown up close. Focal length behaves differently as the camera is much closer to the small subjects, and lastly we have a lot of glass and metal effects to calculate during the render. This takes longer than getting skin detail to come out believe it or not, as render sparkles can show up easily in reflections. I did this with 10k iterations and it still wasn't as good as it needed to be. I ended up duplicating a layer, blurring it a tad (like 5-10 pixels), then removing the render sparkles on the bits that didn't look great. Problem solved, thank you Photoshop!
