This is a thumbnail for one of my YouTube video in which I'm explaining how to use the Iray Section node in DAZ Studio. I've discovered it by accident and really like it's animation potential and the super interesting effects it can create with very little effort. Medical illustration will never be the same again. Essentially it's an infinite plane, below which everything in your scene is cut off. Light passes into objects (unless you disable that feature), shadows adjust, intersections can be seen, and because it's an independent node, it can be animated too.
In this thumbnail I wanted to show two things this tool can do. Both images are separate scenes composited in Photoshop. The cube was a simple example, but to add a more complex object, I thought of a space cadet experiencing a "weird force" that slices off things as it approaches, hence the pained expression on her face. I'll add a link to the video here as soon as it's live (Patreon and Ko-fi supporters can already get access).
